At the same time, a toner recovering roll 7 having a permanent magnet 9 is set into a sleeve 8. The toner 2 stuck on the surface of the roll 3 is detached at the position near the roll 7 and by the repulsion of the same polarity and dropped into a recovering container 11. The toner scattered in the opposite direction is adsorbed to the sleeve 8 and then collected to the container 11 through a scrape-off plate 10.
