Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to rapidly and surely detect gas leak without being influensed by the state of air flow around a gas apparatus by a method wherein the presence of gas supply to the gas apparatus and the temperature in the neighbourhood of the combustion part of the gas apparatus are detected. CONSTITUTION:When gas flows within a gas flow detecting part 3, an impeller is rotated and the rotation of the impeller is followed by the rotation of a permanent magnet 6. As a result, the signal indicating the presence of gas flow within a gas pipe is issued from a magnetic sensor 10 and inputted in a signal generator circuit 12. On the other hand, the signal indicating temperature in the neightbourhood of the combustion part of the gas apparatus is issued from a temperature sensor 11 and inputted in a signal generator circuit 13. After that, the outputs from the signal generator circuits 12 and 13 are inputted in a decision circuit 14, which decide the presence of gas leak and sends the signal indicating the presence of gas leak to an alarm circuit 15.
