Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the processing efficiency at an object program execution, by suppressing register saving to a minimum degree, through the addition of a bit map forming module in a compiler. CONSTITUTION:A bit map forming module 7 provided in a compiler 2 is constituted so that a bit map table 8 can be formed corresponding to registers to be used. A module 6 informs the corresponding register to the module 7 based on the fact that a register giving the change in content is determined during the execution of processing of a program 3, and when the object program 3 corresponding to a source program 1 is produced, a code producing module 5 adds a prologue and an epilogue indicating the saving of content to the object program 3 based on the content of the bit map table 8 produced at the module 7.
