PURPOSE:To obtain a vivid printed image, by giving a magnetic field signal corresponding to information to be printed to a magnetic recording layer to record information by magnetization and moving this magnetic recording layer while bringing closely a nonmagnetic recording sheet into contact with this magnetic recording layer to develop and fix this information. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording head 3 consists of thin-layer magnetic cores blanked into prescribed forms, and plural magnetic cores are piled up in accordance with the number of recording points. Magnetic coils 3A are wound around magnetic cores of the magnetic recording head 3 independently of one another, and the tip of a recording part 3B of the head 6 has a surface area determined by the size of the pattern of information to be recorded and is angular with 0.1-0.01mm. thickness. A closed magnetic field forming member 4 consisting of a magnetic material faces to the magnetic recording head 3 through a magnetic recording material 1 and a nonmagnetic recording sheet 2. The nonmagnetic recording sheet 2 is brought closely into contact with the magnetic recording material 1 and is carried, and the nonmagnetic recording sheet 2 is separated from the magnetic recording material 1 after developing 1 after developing and fixing in known developing part 5 and fixing part 6.
