CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic clutch 28 is turned on to rotate a driving shaft 25, and a distributor starts advancing. When the driving shaft 25 rotates in a certain-degree arc, for example, makes 1/4 revolution, a detecting portion of a disc board 31 and a suspending step portion 32' of a disc 32 reach a sensor 33 to turn off the electromagnetic clutch 28. At this time of OFF, the distributor is still positioned on this side of a tray, and a free operation of the driving shaft 25 causes the distributor to be self-propelled by inertia and dead load. When the driving shaft 25 rotates in a fixed degree arc, a finger 35 falls in the suspending step portion 32' of the position control disc 32, so that the driving shaft 25 is locked, and the distributor is retained at a set position of the tray.
