PURPOSE:To obtain a profiling method in which low-speed machining set positions are provided beforehand in a profiling model so that the profile feed is changed to a low speed when the low-speed machining set positions are detected during the profiling operation. CONSTITUTION:Electrically conducting sections 15A, 15B, 16A and 16B are provided in to be machined at low speed set positions 15 and 16 while treating other parts with electrically insulation. As a result the feed speed can be automatically adjusted by the detection of the positions which have been set to be machined at low speed.
