Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the recovery efficiency for ferromagnetic metals by placing the metals to be recovered on a moving bed which oscillates longitudinally and transversely, and attracting and recovering the ferromagnetic metals with magnets at both ends of the moving bed.
CONSTITUTION: Ground metals to be recovered are put in a metal charging part 1, where grain sizes are screened with meshes 6, and the dropping of the metals is controlled with a damper 7. The metals dropped onto a belt conveyor 2 which is a moving bed are moved by this conveyor 2, which is formed of a belt driving part 8, an impact part 9 for application of transverse oscillations to the belt and an impact part 10 for application of longitudinal oscillations, and applies the longitudinal and transverse impact oscillations together with the oscillations of the metals to be recovered thereby improving the attraction efficiency of magnet parts 3. While the metals to be recovered are advanced by the movement of the conveyor 2, the ferromagnetic metals are attracted to the magnets 3 and non-magnetic materials are recovered into a recovery box at the terminal end of the belt. The metals attracted onto the magnets are put into an another recovering box at the left end part by moving a sweeper 5 after switching off the power supply to the magnets.
