Abstract

PURPOSE: To separate ferromagnetic materials and nonmagnetic materials with high magnetic selection efficiency in the state of screening and separating a mixture of ferromagnetic materials and nonmagnetic materials with a magnetic separator by treating these by utilizing endless permanent magnet elements and a conveyor.
CONSTITUTION: While an endless conveyor belt 5 is held superposed on the outer side of permanent magnet elements 2 formed endless of many permanent magnets, an inclination of θ with respect to a horizontal plane is formed to these with sprockets 3, 3 and these are turned in a direction Y.
