Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure diffused light efficiently by arranging a reflective member, directed to a shutter curtain surface, outside photographic luminous flux, and guiding the diffused light from the shutter curtain surface and a film surface to a photodetecting element. CONSTITUTION:Light incident to a shutter curtain surface and a film surface 5 through a photographic lens 3 is diffused by the shutter curtain surface, etc., and part of it reaches a reflective member 1 and is reflected there to enter a photodetecting element 2, measuring the brightness of an object. In a conventional photometric device, a photodetecting element 10 is arranged at the bottom part of a mirror box and an angle theta1 of incidence is approximately equal to 40 deg., but this device has an angle theta2 of incidence to the reflective member which is approximately equal to theta1/2. As the angle theta is greater and greater, the intensity of the diffused light is lower and lower, so the loss of the quantity of light decreases.
