PURPOSE:To reconstitute a loop in an effective way, by transmitting a control instruction with address to a certain station from a central control station via a loop transmission line when a fault arises and giving the by-pass to the station when the control instruction indicates the by-pass. CONSTITUTION:A central control station 1 monitors a loop transmission line 2. Stations 3a and 3b exchange a data with each other via the line 2. The station 3a or 3b receives a control instruction with address which is transferred via the line 2 in case a fault occurs and then delivers a branching instruction when it decodes that the received instruction is identical with a by-pass command to its own station. Branch line 15a or 15b is connected between the line 2 and the station 3a or 3b. When a branching instruction is delivered from the corresponding station, only this relevant station is cut off from the line 2 to give the by-pass to this station.
