Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A magnetic paint where 0.1-5pts.wt. higher saturated fatty acid having carbon number 10-18 such as lauric acid and stearic acid and 0.1- 5pts.wt. lecithin are added to 100pts.wt. iron oxide magnetic powder, where gamma- Fe2O3, Fe3O4, or an intermediate compound between these compounds is allowed to contain Co, is applied on a base material to obtain a magnetic recording medium.
