Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct an error due to the variation of an A/D converter by comparing an invariably logical true value with a reference voltage, and correcting measurement data. CONSTITUTION:In a microcomputer CPU1, digital values D1-D3 which correspond to previously obtained reference voltages V1-V3 are stored. As measurement is started, voltage levels from reference voltage generators 4-6 are supplied through a changeover circuit 3 to an A/D converter 2 to obtain digital values D1'-D3'. Then, the CPU1 compares the digital values D1'-D3' with the digital values D1-D3 as true values to obtain a correction coefficient alpha. Then, when an analog signal from a sensor 7 is supplied to the A/D converter 2 through the changeover circuit 3, the CPU1 performs correction by using the correction coefficient alpha. Thus, an error due to the variation of the A/D converter is corrected.
