Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a great bearing force at the head of a pile by displacing the pressure receiving plate of a pile with a pressure receiving plate from a rising attitude almost parallelized with the pile to a lying attitude capable of supporting the pile by means of the force component of the reaction of the ground in the penetration direction. CONSTITUTION:When a pile A is erected on the ground and striken by a hammer, a pressure receiving plate 3 is gradually expanded outwards at the lower end as a supporting point of a side plate 1 coupled with a cross beam 4 by means of the force component of the reaction of the ground. When the pressure receiving plate 3 is removed from a flexible hook 7, its expansion is started to a lying attitude angle at which the tip of the upper half plate portion 3b is obstructed by the inner face or projection 8 on the top 1 side, whereby permitting the pile A to be supported by the laid pressure receiving plate 3 under the ground.
