Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a container safely transferred without any contact with a transfer device, by attaching sliding plates vertically to a conveyer belt and shifting the plate sideways on which the container is placed. CONSTITUTION:A transfer device 1 is composed of an endless conveyer blet 6 driven by a driving wheel 3 which is connected with a motor 4 and of plates 10 slidable sideways on base plates 9 which are set to attachments of the conveyer belt 6. Rollers to be engaged with branching gude bars 15 are set below the plates 10, so that the plates 10 can travel with a container 18 placed on them along a preset conveying way. Sine the container 18 does not contact with the transfer members, it is safely transferred without any abrasion or scratch.
