Abstract

PURPOSE:To lift or lower a chassis of a trailer freely, by swinging brackets supporting wheels of the trailer by piston engines to lift or lower said wheels. CONSTITUTION:The lifting apparatus 4 is arranged to a beam 5 installed on the chassis frame 3 of the trailer 2, and has frames 6 that are arranged at the lower sections of the beam 5 and bears pivotally the brackets 10 which support the wheels 9 rotatably, and the lifting apparatus 4 further includes the piston engines 7 each located between the connecting sections 13 at the upper part of the brackets 10. When the piston engines 9 are extended or contracted, the brackests 10 are swung to move the wheels 9 vertically as shown in the chain lines in the figure.
