Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve steerability by a method wherein steering angular velocity at the continually steered side is multiplied by a constant obtained by using the speed of the car load applied to an axle as parameters, and a pair of rear wheels which is not steered at all times is steered by the value. CONSTITUTION:Signals from a car speed detector 13 mounted to a transmission 11, a front wheel steering angular velocity detector 14 set up to a gear box 3 and a load detector 15 fitted to a suspension 9 are transmitted to a command curcuit 16, and a servo valve 18 is driven by the output from the command circuit 16. An actuator 21 is coupled with a steering linkage 20 of the rear wheel, and the actuator 21 is operated through the driving of said servo valve 18. Numeral 17 is a servo amplifier, and controls the servo valve 18, thus controlling the displacement of the actuator.
