Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a driving operation regardless of skill in driving technique by determinging the turning ratio of front and rear wheels within a given range at a specified speed or more of vehicle in a vehicle which allows front and rear wheels to be turned. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle has a sensor 7 which detects a transverse acceleration of a vehicle or a yaw-rate and a computer 8 which controls an actuator 9 by the input from the sensor 7. The actuator 9 connects with a gear box 10 which has driving means for steering the rear wheel. And the actuator 9 is operated to allow a steering ratio gamma of rear wheel to be within a range of no less than 0<gamma<=0.6 at 80km/h or more speed of the vehicle through the operation of the computer 8.
