Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a selection error due to a sensor, by switching a receiving system in accordance with an electric field intensity signal fixed to a prescribed value, and a multipath distortion signal, when the electric field intensity of a receiving wave is strong. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted so that an output point A of an S meter is capable of obtaining the voltage corresponding to receiving electric field intensity. when the sensor voltage of the output point A rises and attains to some level, diodes D1, D2 constituting a limiting circuit 4 are biased in the forward direction, becomes a conducting state, and at this moment, the sensor voltage of the output point A is fixed to forward-bias voltage VF of the diodes D1, D2. That is to say, when the sensor voltage rising in accordance with the receiving electric field attains to VF, the limiter is applied, and its value is fixed to a constant prescribed value. In this regard, 1, 2 and 3 denote an intermediate frequency amplifying circuit, a distortion component detecting circuit and a diversity switching circuit, respectively.
