Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure the accurate detection for the fault which lacks the unsteady reproducibility, by giving the comparison to the voltage signals supplied from the temperature detecting circuit at the comparator circuit and then informing the fault of the detecting circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The detector consists of temperature detecting circuit 2 which converts the temperature into the voltage signal, comparator circuit 3 which compares the voltage signal with the reference voltage to produce the fault signal, and alarm circuit 5 each. Thermistor 204 in circuit 2 delivers the voltage corresponding to the temperature change. For instance, if the signal of an extraordinarily high level is produced, the output features level "1" since the level of the signal is higher than upper limit reference voltage VH to be connected to the inverse input terminal of comparator 312 in circuit 3. As a result, transistor 504 is turned on, and light emitting diode 507 glows while the output of comparator 312 is kept at level "1". In this way, the accurate detection is possible even in case such fault lacking the unsteady reproducibility as the contact defect may occur to the element and the like which forms the temperature detecting circuit.
