Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to perform a self-diagnosis of an operation under a measuring condition at an analyzing time without being influenced by a chromat signal processing method, by incorporating a circuit which produces a change in an electric signal generated to imitate a chromat signal at an arbitrary timing. CONSTITUTION:At an abnormal gas analyzing time, a chromat signal is inputted to a processor 2 from an analyzer 1. A switcher 7, built into the processor 2, connects the chromat signal to an a-contact and an output from a signal generating circuit 25 to a b-contact to select either of them. Thus, a normal analysis to process the chromat signal is the same as conventional ones. At a self-diagnosis time, the switcher 7 selects a contact side. If the timing signals t1 and t2 are inputted at an arbitrary timing, an electric signal, produced to miniate the chromat signal, is outputted from signal generators 4 and 5. This permits self- diagnosing of the operation of the signal processor even if the signal from the analyzer 1 is not obtained.
