Abstract

PURPOSE: To positively prevent explosion by a method wherein an automatic low temp. gas flow control valve is provided to a zone in the vicinity of a treating material take-in port of a paint continuously drying and baking machine for an iron plate or the like to hold the same to a definite open degree and a cooling gas is continuously supplied in an amount necessary to prevent the explosion.
CONSTITUTION: A kiln gas sucked by a blower 1 is burnt and deodorized by the flame of a main burner 3 in an incinerator 2 and a part of a high temp. combustion exhaust gas is branched into supply pipe 10 and the remainder thereof is discharged from a chimney 8. After the exhaust gas passing through the supply pipe 10 is mixed with the atmospheric air sucked by a blower 11 so as to lower the temp. thereof to about 500°C, it is supplied into each zones 100aW100d through each automatic high temp. gas blow control valves 109aW109d and into zones 200aW200f through automatic flow control valves 209aW209f. In addition, atutomatic low temp. gas flow control valves 112a, 112b, 212a, 212b connected to zones 100a, 100b, 200a, 200b in the vicinity of inlets of treating materials S1, S2, are controlled to a definite open degree so as to always supply a cooling gas in an amount necessary to prevent explosion in each zones.
