Abstract

PURPOSE:To set the dury rate of an output to 50% by applying different voltages as control ones to an operational amplifier through diodes connected in the opposite directions. CONSTITUTION:A voltage is applied to an input terminal IN to develop control voltages at connection points (a) and (b) between resistances R21 and R22, and an FET. When the output point (d) of an operational amplifier AMP is at a positive potential, a diode D1 conducts to apply a voltage, divided by resistances R23 and R26, as a comparison voltage to the noninverted input terminal of the operational amplifier AMP. When the charging voltage of a capacitor C21 reaches this comparison voltage, the output point (d) is held at a negative potential and a diode D2 conducts, so that a voltage divided by resistances R24 and R26 is used as the comparison one. when the capacitor C21 is discharged to the comparison voltage, the output point (d) is held at a positive potential again. According to the input voltage, the voltages at the connection points (a) and (b) vary reversely and a 50% duty rate rectangular wave is obtained as an output.
