Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized pulse width modulating amplifying circuit without requiring another comparator, by applying the sound signal into the triangular wave signal oscillating circuit and by performing pulse width modulation inside this circuit simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:The output of sound output amplifier 3 is inputted to noninversion terminal of operational amplifier 8. The output voltage of comparator 7 is applied to the inversion terminal of operational amplifier 8, and the output of operational amplifier 8 is connected to the noninversion terminal of comparator 7. When sound signal (b) is 0V, output voltage VA of comparator 7, namely, output voltage VO becomes a pulse voltage of duty 50%; and when sound signal (b) becomes +Vb, the difference between voltages Vb and VA is integrated and is inputted to the noninversion terminal of comparator 7 by the operational amplifier, and thus, output voltage VA becomes a voltage which corresponds to input voltage +Vb and was subjected to pulse width modulation.
