Abstract

PURPOSE:To charge the molten metal into the cavities like long holes by the own weight of the molten metal and the suction force and to facilitate casting of the fine and slender metallic bars by aligning the axial center direction of the said cavities to the vertical direction of a crucible and making the pressure at the bottom end of the cavities lower than the pressure at the top end. CONSTITUTION:A crucible 16 contg. molten metal M is pressed to a mold 11 in tight contact therewith by a press body 17. Next, the entire part of the device is rotated by the horizontal shafts 13, 13 to flow the molten metal M in the crucible 16 into the cavities 12 by its own weight. When it is rotated further and a limit switch 19 operates, a solenoid valve 23 opens, and the inside of the cavities 12 is evacuated to a vacuum state with a vacuum tank 24, so that the molten metal M flows into the cavities 12.
