Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. giving rotational moldings such as tanks and containers which do not sufer from foaming and scorching and have good appearance and excellent impact resistance, by blending a specified crosslinking agent and a crosslinking aid with PE.
CONSTITUTION: The titled compsn. is obtd. by blending 0.1W5pts.wt. 2,5-dimethyl- 2,5-di(t-butylperoxy)hexine-3 as a crosslinking agent (B) and 0.1W10pts.wt. triallyl cyanurate and/or triallyl isocyanurate as a crosslinking aid (C) with 100pts.wt PE (A). By using said crosslinking agent B and said crosslinking aid C in combination, there can be obtd. a PE compsn. which gives rotational moldings such as tanks and containers having good appearance and excellent impact resistance without causing foaming or scorching caused by decomposition of part of an org. peroxide during kneading resulting in premature crosslinking.
