Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the feeling in air conditioning, by providing an automatic temperature controller to calculate the temperature of blown-off air which is necessary for keeping the temperature of a vehicle room at a command and to control the temperature of a heat exchange means and the air supply quantity of a blower on the basis of the result of the calculation. CONSTITUTION:The temperature 10 of a vehicle room, the temperature 11 of the outdoor air, the quantity 12 of insolation, a set level 13 for the temperature of the vehicle room and a set level 14 for the quantity of supplied air are applied to a microcomputer 17 through an A/D converter 15. The microcomputer 17 calculates, in accordance with a prescribed control program, the temperature of blown-off air from an air duct 1, which is necessary to keep the temperature 10 of the vehicle room at the command 13. A temperature control signal for an air mixing gate 7 and an air quantity control signal for a blower motor 3 are produced depending on the result of the calculation so that the temperature control signal is applied to a gate drive circuit 18 and the air quantity control signal is applied to a blower drive circuit 20 to regulate the quantity and temperature of supplied air. According to this constitution, the feeling of air conditioning is improved.
