Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain uniform satin surfaces of less etch pits in etching treatment to be accomplished in succession to an electrolytic degreasing treatment by subjecting an Ni alloy wire rod as the anode to said degreasing treatment in an aq. NaOH soln.
CONSTITUTION: A degreasing agent is fed from a storage tank 5 having a heater 7 therein to an electrolytic degreasing tank 3 by a pump 6, and the degreasing agent is reflowed into the tank 5. An Ni alloy wire rod 1 passes between the electrodes 4 in the above-mentioned tank 3. The positive electrode of a DC electric power source 8 is connected to the rod 1 through power feed rolls 2 and the negative pole is connected to the above-mentioned electrodes 4. An aq. soln. of ≥60°C liquid temp. contg. 150W250g/lNaOH is used as the degreasing agent, and the electrolytic treatment is accomplished under the conditions of ≥20A/ dm2 cathode current density and (current density)×(treatment time second) ≥100A/dm2.sec.
