Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten the time for forming a siphon by communicating heads in two siphon discharging passages with each other and promoting suction of exhaust in one discharging passage, which is poor in exhaustion of its interior air, with the aid of the other discharging passage. CONSTITUTION:A siphon is formed in siphon discharging passages 1, 1' by means of water flow Q discharged from a pump 6. Since both heads 1a, 1a' of the siphon discharging passages 1, 1' communicate with each other through a communicating pipe 12 of a communicating system 3, even in case the discharged water Q from the pump 6 does not flow evenly into each siphon discharging passage 1, 1', for example, sucking action generated to balance the pressure around the heads 1a, 1a' in the discharging passages 1, 1' through the communicating pipe 12 from the siphon discharging passage 1 side, promotes discharge of air from the interior of the siphon discharging passage 1' which is poor in said discharge, thus a siphon being formed in each siphon discharging passage 1, 1' in a short time.
