Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectuate constant speed control with high accuracy, by comparing an actual revolution speed signal with a set revolution speed signal to generate an acceleration or deceleration signal depending on the result of the comparison, to open or close a throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:A revolution speed detection circuit 2, a revolution speed setting circuit 3, a comparator circuit 5 for comparing the output signals of the circuits 2, 3 with each other, a first deceleration signal generation circuit 8, a first acceleration signal generation circuit 9, a second deceleration signal generation circuit 12 and a second acceleration signal generation circuit 13 are provided. The actual revolution speed signal Eb is compared with the set revolution speed signals Ec, Ed by the circuit 5. The second deceleration signals Eq, Er or second acceleration signals Es, Et are produced depending on the result of the comparison to regulate the degree of opening of a throttle valve 15 by a throttle controller 14 to keep the revolution speed at the set level. Constant speed control with high accuracy despite the fluctuation of load is thus effectuated.
