Metals of one, two or more kinds selected among Ag, Cu, Ni, Fe, Sb, Zn, Cd, or Mg are used for making the lead alloy. A layer-like dichalcogen compound formed of transition metals of groups IVB, VB of the periodic table, e.g., TiO2, MnO2, V2O5, etc., is used for an anode 6. The electrolyte made by, e.g., dissolving LiClO4 in propylene carbonate is used for the nonaqueous electrolyte.
