Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an nonaqueous secondary cell with an excellent charging and discharging repetition characteristic and the high reliability by using lead or a lead alloy for a current collector of a lithium cathode. CONSTITUTION:Lead or a lead alloy is used for a cathode current colloector 4 of a cathode 5 using lithium as a cathode active material. Metals of one, two or more kinds selected among Ag, Cu, Ni, Fe, Sb, Zn, Cd, or Mg are used for making the lead alloy. A layer-like dichalcogen compound formed of transition metals of groups IVB, VB of the periodic table, e.g., TiO2, MnO2, V2O5, etc., is used for an anode 6. The electrolyte made by, e.g., dissolving LiClO4 in propylene carbonate is used for the nonaqueous electrolyte.
