Abstract

PURPOSE:To remarkably increase the tracking performance of a numerical controller with simple constitution, by constituting a negative feedback integrating loop taking a digital-frequency converter as a virtual gain element and using a realized LPF for the speed control of the numerical controller. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic circuit 5 outputs a shift pulse train in a specified speed based on an input data. A digital-frequency converter 8 outputs a pulse train of a frequency proportional to a digital input value from a counter 6. The ouptut pulse train and that of the circuit 5 are inputted to the counter 6, the deviation of both the pulse trains is stored in real time and the output becomes a digital input of the converter 8. Thus, the smoothing of acceleration and deceleration change can be made simply by adding an LPF to a conventional speed controller, allowing to make continuous positioning with high accuracy and high speed.
