Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify an operating mechanism to make the device small-size, by providing operation levers for fast-forwarding and rewinding in parallel and locking them to perform the fast-forwarding operation and the rewinding operation in the independent operation and not locking them to eject a cassette when both operation levers are operated simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A tape fast-forwarding FF lever 28 and a rewinding REW lever 29 are provided in parallel slidably on a side arm 17 and are engaged with a pin 34, which the second arm 32 is brought into contact with, fixed to the first cam 33. When levers 28 and 29 are operated simultaneously, the quantity of movement of the pin 34 is larger than that for the independent operation. In this constitution, when both levers are depressed simultaneously, they are not locked by the difference of this quantity of movement, and a turning arm 11 is turned through a prescribed eject mechanism to eject a cassette. When the lever 28 is operated independently, it is locked, and an FF idler gear 129 engages with a reel driving gear 61 to perform the fast-forwarding operation. Thus, the operating mechanism is simplified to make the device small-size.
