Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution by connecting and breaking a rotation transfer path, extending from a capstan shaft to a reel shaft, by utilizing the rotation of a capstan. CONSTITUTION:When an electromagnet 23 is powered up for fast-forwarding operation, a trigger lever 17 is attracted by the electromagnet 23 to rotate against a tension spring 19, and consequently a lock claw 21 is unlocked from an inside lock projection 16a to rotate a segment gear 13 slightly by the pressing of a rotary member 5, so that it engages with a driving gear 1. The rotary member 5 meets a stopper 12 shortly after the engagement, so it does not press a pressure roller 15 further, but the segment gear 13 engages with the driving gear 1 to be turned in a constant direction continuously. Then, the pressure roller 15 turns the rotary member 5 so that it separates from the stopper 12, and through this rotary member 5, a movable support 4 is moved greatly against the spring 11 to engage an idler 3 with the driving gear 1 and an operating gear 2, thus transferring the rotation of a capstan shaft 1A to a reel shaft 2A.
