PURPOSE:To reduce fuel consumption by half by lessening thermal load of accelerant and securing minimal rotating capacity by dividing cylinder groups into two groups and controlling fuel supply of each group according to the condition of reduction gear. CONSTITUTION:In a multiple cylinder type intenal-combustion engine, all cylinders are divided into two groups and fuel injection valves 41 and 42 are fixed. A control circuit 30 computes a number of rotations of an engine side from an output pulse interval of a crank angule detector 10 and transmits an ignition signal to an ignition 50. At this point, condition of reduction gear is detected to compute whether to stop fuel supply to all cylinders or to supply fuel only to one cylinder group or supply fuel to all cylinder groups according to the condition of reduction gear, and control the fuel injection valves 41 and 42. By this, fuel consumption can be saved.
