Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the maximum slip-preventing effect by a method wherein a spike capable of being projected and retreated is fitted to a tire and is operated pneumatically. CONSTITUTION:An air bag 5 is provided between an air tire 3 and a tread part 6 of a rubber tire 4, with the spike 7 held between the air bag 6 and the tread part 6. A receiving plate 8 for the spike 7 is brought into contact with the air tire 3, and pipes 9, 10 for supplying and discharging compressed air are fitted to the air tire 3 and the air bag 5, respectively. When the spike 7 is required to operate, the air pressure in the bag 5 is reduced so as to push out the spike 7 in the direction of the arrow by the expansion of the air tire 3.
