Abstract

PURPOSE: To vulcanize every regions of pneumatic tire from its tread through bead under optimum condition by disposing main pressure chamber with resilient wall for pressing inner wall of unvulcanized tire, and subsidiary chamber which can apply additional pressure to tread section of the tire through inner wall of the main chamber.
CONSTITUTION: Unvulcanized tire 6 is seated in upper mold 10 and lower mold 1 and also in mold sings 13 and 4. Main chamber 21 which has resilient wall for applying its pressure onto the inner face of the tire 6, and assistant chamber 23 which has resilient wall for applying is pressure mainly onto tread section 7 of the tire 6 via main chamber wall are both positioned inside of the unvulcanized tire 6. Vulcanizing medium is then put forcibly into both of chambers 21 and 23 through inlets 26 and 27 respectively. By appropriately adjusting the pressures of vulcanizing media respectively input to chambers 21 and 23, and by selecting formation of assistant chamber 23, every regions of the pneumatic tire 6 from tread section through shoulder section to bead section are ideally vulcanized under optimum condition.
