Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The waste material containing at least 10% or more of hot-melt resins such as cut waste of clothes or resin molded articles is directly introduced in the molds 1, 1a having vents 2, 2a, or is loaded in a bag 6 having vent pores, and is introduced in the molds 1, 1a, and then is pressed under heating to obtain a cushioning and thermal insulating material having a desired shape. The reasons why the molds having vents are used and why the waste material is loaded in the bag having the vent pores are that gases or steam which will be generated during the molding are to be discharged outside the molds.
