Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled pipe having uniform adhesion strength and stable quality, by introducing a synthetic resin pipe, which can expand its diameter with heat, into an extruding coated metal die provided with an annular injection hole, cylindrically extruding a heat-sensitive adhesive agent from the metal die to coat the pipe, hot-rolling the coated pipe, and then inserting and heating the coated pipe in a metal pipe. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin pipe 1, which can expand its diameter with heat, is introduced into an extruding coated metal die 2 comprising an inner die part 21, an outer die part 22 and a die 23. An annulus injection hole 24 is formed between the die lip 23 and the inner die 21. A molten thermosensitive adhesive agent is distributed toward the periphery from the adhesive agent-introducing hole 25 of the metal die 2 by a manifold 26, and extruded through the annular injection hole 24 into a cylindrical shape to coat the resin pipe. Thereafter, the heat-sensitive adhesive layer 3 of the adhesive agent-applied resin pipe is heated at a temperature higher than its softening point but below its fluidizing point in a heating chamber 4, pressed under the heated condition in a pressing chamber 5, inserted into a metal pipe, and then heated again to obtain an objective lined pipe.
