Abstract
PURPOSE:To extrude uniformly and coat hotmelt material on the outer surface of a synthetic resin tube without thermal deformation of the synthetic resin tube having a property of thermal expansion by a method wherein a cooling block is provided in a crosshead die. CONSTITUTION:A thermally fixed resin tube 5 the diameter of which expands by heating is penetrated into the crosshead die 7 having a cooling block 74 and hotmelt adhesives brought from an inlet port 731 to an outlet port 334 are exruded and coated on the outer surface of said synthetic resin tube 5. On account of the effect of the cooling block 74 the synthetic resin tube 5 can extrude uniformly and coat the hotmelt adhesives without any thermal deformation. This adhesive coated tube 8 is used so as to line the inside of a metallic tube. After said coated tube 8 is inserted into the intended metallic tube, the whole body is heated and expanded in diameter and the hotmelt adhesives are melted to laminate both of them into a unitary body.
