Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten the time of steps of producing a core of different shape by feeding a punched core engaged with a punched hole of a strip steel plate to a core measuring unit, separately measuring the core from the steel plate synchronously with the punching, and externally pushing it. CONSTITUTION:A long core strip steel plate 5 continuously supplied is punched via upper and lower dies 1, 2 mounted on a punching machine, the punched core is again returned to a hole formed at the plate 5, is engaged with the hole, and the plate 5 is fed via a conveyance chute 17 to a measuring unit of next step. The measuring unit has a pushing tool 15 which elevationally moves the core synchronously with a connecting rod 12 of the ram 3 of the punching machine, and the tool 15 separates the core from the hole and drops it into the measuring unit. After the cores are laminated as required, the entire laminated core is externally pushed out. In this manner, the cores of different shape can be formed by exchanging several parts relative to the shapes of the core and punching dies, thereby shortening the time of steps of producing the cores.
