Abstract
PURPOSE: A green rare earth oxysulfide fluorescent material with a high light- emitting efficiency largely reduced in luminance with temp. rise, which is prepd. by activation with Tb and or Pr.
CONSTITUTION: A green rare earth oxysulfide fluorescent material of the formula (wherein Ln is at least an element selected from Y, Gd and La; Z is at least an element selected from Tb and Pr; 1×10-5≤x≤0.04; 3×10-5≤y≤0.2).
USE: Projection-type color television and X ray-sensitized paper.
