Abstract
PURPOSE: An acaricide that is composed of a mixture of a specific ethanol derivative and methyl 1-(butylcarbamoyl)-2-benzimidazole carbamate, thus deactivating chemical resistance and showing high synergetic control effect in low concentration.
CONSTITUTION: The objective acaricide is obtained by mixing an ethanol derivative of the formula (X is H, Cl) with methyl 1-(butylcarbamoyl)-2-benzimidazole carbamate (benomyl) at a weight ratio 1/10W10/1, preferably 1/5W5/1. In case of the ethanol derivative alone, it kills mites 55W70% in 100ppm concentration and in benomyl, about 50%, however, their combination kills mites 80W90%.
