Abstract
PURPOSE: An antifungal agent containing 2, 4-dihydroxyacylophenone.
CONSTITUTION: An antifungal agent that inhibits the growth of Tricophytons as Tricophyton mentagrophytes and yeasts as Candida albicans is prepared by using a 2, 4-dihydroxyacylophenone of the formula (R1 is 1W9C alkyl; R2 is H, halogen; R3 is H, 4W8C alkyl, halogen; where when R2 and R3 are H or halogens at the same time, the carbon number of R1 is 6W9) as the effective component. It is typically used in the form of preparation for external use as ointment or solution. The 2, 4-dihydroxyacylophenon with a 2W18C acyl is used as a disinfectant and antiseptic. The compounds of the formula, the effective ingredient, is prepared by introduction of desired R1, R2 and R3 into 2, 4-dihydroxybenzene in turn.
