Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a braking device for a DC brushless motor inexpensively in high reliability capable of obtaining purely electric and effective brake by continuously supplying the phase current of the specific phase of a plurality of phase currents for driving a rotor to a motor coil. CONSTITUTION:When a rotor 1r receives a stop command at the time t1 during rotation of a rated rotating speed N1, switching control signals S1-S6 are immediately interrupted, and the rotating speed starts decelerating. The exciting current of a relay coil 5s is interrupted at the time t2, a relay 5 is deenergized, motor coils 1a-1c are shortcircuited, and the motor is rapidly decelerated. When the motor becomes the prescribed rotating speed N2 at the time t3, the exciting current is again supplied to the 5s, the relay 5 is operated, and a drive circuit 5 is connected to the coils 1a-1c. The signals S1, S4 become ''1'' at the time t4, transistors 4a, 4e are conducted ON, a DC current flows from 1a to 1b, the motor is abruptly braked, is stopped at the time t5, the S1, S4 become ''0'' at the time t6, and the relay 5 is deenergized at the time t7.
