Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the detection for a defect by a method wherein, a switching circuit is regarded as a full-bridge circuit at normal operation while regarded as a half-bridge circuit at defective time, and the lowering of an output voltage is detected by utilizing the difference of peak values of the respective output voltages. CONSTITUTION:Transistors 4, 5 and 6, 7 are alternately conducted ON and interrupted OFF by drive signals P1-P4 at the normal time, and a rectangular pulse AC output e0 is produced from an output transformer. The voltage e0 is charged through a rectifying diode 11, a resistor 12 at a capacitor 13 to be compared by a comparator 15 with a reference power 14, but since the voltage of the capacitor 13 is set to become in advance higher than the reference voltage 14, a warning circuit 16 does not operate. On the other hand, when one of the transistors 4-7 is interrupted and defected, the voltage e0 is lowered, and the warning circuit 16 is actuated by the output of the comparator 15.
