PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of power equipment by inhibiting the transmission of a selection code to a master station when the selection code is outputted after a control code. CONSTITUTION:A malfunction prevention device 8 is provided between a master station 3 and a translation board 2 or an electronic computer 7. In the device 8, a selection code is inputted via a signal line 10 to AND circuits 13 and 19, and a selection code holding circuit 16. A control code is transferred via a signal line 11 to the AND circuit 19 and an NOT circuit 12. If the selection code is inputted after the control code is inputted, the control code is transmitted to the circuit 19 via the signal line 11, but the selection code is not inputted at that time, stopping the control code through the operation of the circuit 19. The output of the circuit 12 shows that the control code is present, and when the selection code is inputted on said condition, the circuit 13 does not meet the condition, thereby stopping the selection code. Thus, no power equipment is operated, so that malfunction never occurs.
