Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a local temperature rise even when supply of an electric power source for air conditioning has stopped, by adding a service interruption detecting circuit and a fan electric power supply switching circuit, to a regular air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:When operating an air conditioner, a controlling circuit 4 is started by a start switch in the controlling circuit 4, and a fan 1 and a compressor 2 are started by a fan electromagnetic contactor 52F and a compressor electromagnetic contactor 52C, respectively. In the event of service interruption, the controlling circuit 4 stops its function, each electromagnetic contactor 52F, 52C, 52H and 52Hv is opened and its function is stopped, but a service interruption detecting circuit 12 is operated and a switching device is switched to a terminal (b) from a terminal (a). A fan controlling circuit (at the time of service interruption) 6 is operated and the electronic contactor 52F which has been opened once is closed again. The fan 1 is operated again by electric power from a no-break power device input terminal 15, and the air conditioner continues blowing air.
