Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a correct sensing of leaked fluid by a method wherein there are provided double pipings which are separated in parallel to each other at any section thereof starting from the source of supplying fluid to an inlet port of each of the consumers for the fluid. CONSTITUTION:All the pipes starting from the sources of fluid 10 and 11 to each of the inlet ports of the consumers 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 at the terinal end of the pipe are made in parallel and doubled by the pipings of the system A and the system B. The signals for the flow meters FA and FB are transmitted to the adding or substracting calculator C through the electric signal transducers TA and TB, respectively. A difference in flow rates between the system A and the system B is calculated in the adding and subtracting calculator C and its result is transmitted to the comparing and calculating unit E. When the difference in the flow rates is higher than the desired value, an alarm signal is produced for the control center K and at the same time a signal showing a leaked liquid is applied to the sequence control device G so as to close the shut-off valves VA and VB in the system A and the system B.
