Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide such a gas bomb as having a large capacity and the same size as that of the conventional one by a method wherein the main body and the bottom plate of the gas bomb are bent inwardly and fastened to each other and the bottom plate has a shape to be bulged out inwardly. CONSTITUTION:A bottom plate 2 contacting with an inner wall at the lower edge of the main body 1 is bent in a triple layer to form a reinforcing ring 2'. The end part of the ring is passed through the lower end of the main body 1, raised up along the outer wall thereof and engaged with the lower edge 1' of the main body 1. A packing or a seal member is applied between the reinforcing ring 2' and the lower edge 1' as required to apply a bending-in and fastening opearation. In place of forming the reinforcing ring 2' by bending the edges of the bottom plate, the reinforcement ring which is separately manufactured is fitted to prevent a deformation of the bottom plate.
