CONSTITUTION:A molded rubber material, e.g., acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer rubber sheet, etc., is put in an autoclave, for example, and held in an atmospere of fluorine gas (preferably, diluted with an inert gas, e.g., N2, etc.) at -20- 5 deg.C to improve the surface of the molded rubber material. USE:The molded rubber material thus treated with fluorine gas is suitable for oil seal, O-ring, etc.
